Huge 4kg cluster Rare super luster Chocolate Amethyst/Quartz

Mined by me in Thunder Bay Ontario Canada. The amethyst from this location is said to be 1.1 billion years old.

The brown color is the result of hematite being included in the tips. Crystals from this pocket (the chocolate pocket) are unusually lustrous. Videos can be found on my facebook page TinyGemsCanada of me mining the pocket. Also YouTube's crystal collector mined this pocket as well.
