Very Rare and finest selection of Sapphire Crystals in the world. Mix of 3 colors almost, the pointed end looks like end of an axe not very sharp.

There are few dots and marks very slight cloud in mid area and transparent skin. Both end areas are moderately clean that how I mentioned in the item specific.

Please read in description how gemstones displayed in the listings. Please read the details for certification on all kinds of rare rough stones, Crystals and etc in the description of the listings. Procedure of certification only for any earth. Mined untreated not modified partially or totally, raw rough stones, rough Crystals, rare shaped roughs etc. Has to grind a single a very small tiny spot on the skin of the stone then polish only making that tiny spot. Shiny(sometimes that spot is unnoticeable unless at very closer look). It will reduce a small weight about 0.05cts-0.10cts or less from the whole stone. Gemologist need this tiny shiny spot to see through with their lab equipments to examine to issue the certificate. Certain rough Stones that comes directly from gem mines originally has got natural shiny spots which is fairly rare and if that is perfect enough for gemologist to do his work, it does not need a tiny spot to get it grind and polished.

And we also get rough stones with total natural skin is shiny as the complete body is transparent, though it's shiny to our naked eye, may find a kind of micro tiny rough lines or rough surface base. Or any form of invisible roughness on the shiny body for the lab equipments so definitely we need to grind and polish a spot. It differs from stone to stone. The reason for indicating this procedure only for earth mined untreated untouched raw rough stones with its original condition listed in my inventory.

I think this will be helpful to all kinds of. {Lengthy description mentioned here is untouched raw rough untreated is simply meaning any rough untreated, not with any form of facet, not polished by hand, not sawn}.

2-See the stone carefully and it's full detail. 3-See the gemstone clarity grade in details. For rough stone I specifically mentions it's out put. In the field of clarity grade, for eg: you can get clean stone after cutting and polishing a rough.

That has inclusion on the surface of the stone. Dated certificate report with barcode and number which you can use to search your report or memo card. On the website of the purticular Sri Lankan Lab(GIA ALUMNI MEMBER). THE DESCRIPTION OF HOW GEMSTONES.

The complete detail videos and pictures of the internal and external view of the gemstones. Most common and the universal standard method of gemstones photography to sell online is explained below in detail. INDOOR DISPLAY OF FACETED STONES.

Pictures and videos taken in full white background under strong white light to give a brighter white background to show if any other color present in the stone and inclusions. Eg: Blue Sapphire if there is a yellow line, green line or color dots etc will be easily identified under this particular background and lighting. Or if the inclusion might show as a different color.

Smallest bubbles and feathers may not be visible, is explained in words in the description in the listing of some stones not all. In the case of very light color stones close to white are taken in different color background with the same white light. Eg: very light yellow sapphire, light pink sapphire, some white sapphires. OUTDOOR DISPLAY OF FACETED STONES.

Taken under natural daylight where no direct sunlight hitting at the stone that shows a clean view without shining to much on the surface of the stone. Photography is taken around 7:30AM to 9:30AM morning hours while the sun is going up. STAR SAPPHIRE, CAT'S EYE AND STAR SPINEL. White color version of light is ideal. I hold the light above 7-12 inch over the stone only focusing and hitting sharply right at the stone and where the stone is placed in a lower external light area or no external light area(darker place) in white background. It's very important for Star Sapphires with color. Same applies to cat's eye, star spinel and any variety that shows stars and rays. OUTDOOR DISPLAY OF STAR SAPPHIRE, CAT'S EYE AND STAR SPINEL. I hold the stone under direct sunlight for the stars and the ray of cat's eye to be visible.

Importantly for star sapphires with color. Taken around 9:30AM to 11:30AM morning hours. When the sun is almost up.

Same applies to cat's eye, Star spinel and any variety that shows stars and rays. When there is an important feather or any other inclusions to be noted, I take videos and pictures placing the torch light right on to the skin of the stone viewing inside deeply that shows the feathers and the inclusions clearly. I use torch with white or yellow light to view inside depending on the stone. DISPLAY OF ROUGH STONES AND CRYSTAL. Similar to the details mentioned in the display of faceted stones and feathers and inclusions display additional we dip the stone in oil to show more visibility with extra videos and pictures.

Stones with complete natural shiny skin need not to be dipped in oil. Measurement pictures are also shown in the listing because of different shapes of the rough. Not so important to take internal view of some roughs depends on the stone.

While doing the indoor photography in the white background I turn the item to view the other side, and place it on the floor and again I lift it up, this is a sequence of shooting the item. You can see the shadow of the item when the item is lifted up that helps you to understand how it's done. Same applies to outdoor photography only under direct sunlight for star sapphires, cat's eye and any variety that shows stars and rays. No shadows for faceted stones and roughs because it's taken under normal natural daylight.

360 rotation videos are also available for certain stones. Please be free to ask if you want to know more about the photography information and the stone. How we process our gemstones from it's source to reach the.
